About us

• The beachhouse is positioned 25 km. north of Dar es Salaam in an area called Bahari Beach.
• The distance from the beach house to the Dar es Salaam International airport (25 km), to the Dar es Salaam main bus station (20 km) and to the ferries to Zanzibar (25 km).
• The beachhouse is positioned on a large plot (12.000 square meters). The plot is fully fenced and has two gates. One facing old Bagamojo Road and one facing a small local road called Bahari Street.
• The beachhouse is a 450 square meter property with 6 rooms, 3 bath rooms, a large living room and a dinning room. There is a nice outdoor kitchen where the breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared.
• It’s possible to do camping on the proporty. There is nice and clean toilet - and bath facilities. It’s possible to do cooking in the out site kitchen.
• The beachhouse is operated by Mama Edna, a gardener and a watchman.
• There is a nice garden around the beachhouse. Outside the garden the vegetation on the plot is a combination of cashew nut trees, coconut palms and fruit trees.
• The is a lot of sea birds in the area.
• The beachhouse is positioned 400 meters from the Indian Ocean.
• It’s a 10 minutes walk from the beachhouse to the beach. It’s a nice and private beach. On the walk to the beach you pass a small mangrove.
• From the beach there is a very short distance to a small fisherman village, where it’s possible to buy fresh fish directly.
• Close to the beachhouse you have the following hotels: Bahari Beach Hotel (2½ km), Kunduchi Beach Hotel (4 km), Vet and Wild – East Africa´s largets Waterland (4 km), Silver Sand Hotel (6 km), White Sand Hotel (10 km), Water world (Snorkling and diving) (10 km)
